In October 2025, the Balanced DAO approved the final proposal to shut down governance, halt BALN inflation, and distribute the DAO Fund.

Balanced is no longer a community-owned protocol: it’s a frontend owned by PARROT9. The app is transitioning to the SODAX tech stack, and will then release support for additional protocols.

If you locked up BALN, you can withdraw it without a penalty and migrate it to SODA.
